Our 2024 season is over - Check back in December for 2025
Ages 8+ up
Max group of 8
45 minute experience
280lbs weight limit
Walking ride only
Age Policy
Ages 8 and up can ride and must be able to steer their own horse as directed on the trails. For safety reasons, ages 7 and under, walkers and double-ups are not permitted on glow rides.
Weight-to-Height Policy
For the safety and comfort of our horses and riders, we have weight-to-height limits for our trail rides. You can read more about why we do this here. 🙂
-
Riders 151-200lbs should be 5'0" or taller
-
Riders 201-250lbs should be 5'3" or taller
-
Riders 251-280lbs should be 5'5" or taller
We understand that these limits may seem restrictive, but they are put in place to ensure the safety and well-being of both our riders and our horses. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. ☺︎
Helmet Policy
We strongly recommend all riders wear ASTM/SEI-certified helmets for their safety. We advise you bring your own fitted helmet. If needed, we have certified helmets available in various sizes.
Ready. Set. GLOW!
Indulge in a feast of the senses as you ride into the night, guided by a "living lantern" illuminating the woodland trails. 🤩 This truly unique experience, complete with our handcrafted glow tack, is an absolute must for every horse enthusiast. A chance to connect with nocturnal nature, a gentle giant, and maybe even a little bit of magic!
ARE THESE YEAR ROUND? These rides are offered whenever the weather and sunset time allow. We avoid them in mid-summer, as the late sunsets keep the horses up past their bedtime. We also steer clear of rainy seasons to protect our handmade glow-in-the-dark tack. While these rides are possible throughout the year, Michigan's unpredictable weather makes it difficult to schedule further out than a few weeks in advance.
NOTICE: While no prior experience is needed, riders must be able to steer our horses as directed on the trails. If you have any concerns about your ability to steer a horse, we recommend exploring our other riding options. 🙂
Please make sure you have read and understood our rules and guidelines before you book your ride.
